Belgian giants RSC Anderlecht are reportedly leading a host of European clubs eyeing a move for highly-rated Nigerian midfielder Anthony Dennis, Footynaija.com reports.

The 20-year-old, who emerged through the youth ranks at Turkish side Göztepe, is gaining growing attention following a stellar season in the Turkish First Division.

A regular starter and considered one of the club’s brightest prospects, Dennis was included in Nigeria’s provisional squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers in March.

According to Turkish journalist Orcun Akten, Anderlecht had scouts track Dennis extensively throughout the campaign, with each report described as positive.

However, a move to Lotto Park may prove challenging due to his current contract, which runs until June 2027, and a Transfermarkt valuation of €4 million (approximately ₦7 billion).

Dennis is also believed to be attracting serious interest from Premier League, Bundesliga and Ligue 1 sides, further complicating Anderlecht’s hopes of securing a deal. With the Brussels club already strengthening their midfield with additions like Nathan Saliba and boasting young talents such as Nathan De Cat, Dennis may not be an immediate priority but remains firmly on their radar.

Known for his physical presence, composure on the ball, and technical qualities, Dennis has quickly become a sought-after figure in European circles.

The youngster only arrived in Göztepe in 2023 straight from Nigeria’s HB Academy Abuja.

Dennis featured in 32 of 36 possible games in the Turkish Super Lig, his maiden campaign in the top flight, for Göztepe and contributed three assists as newly promoted Goztepe finished in an impressive 8th position.
