Atlanta rapper has reacted to Kendrick Lamar mentioning him on his hit song, “Not Like Us” and says he is fine with being namedropped.
On the track, Kendrick raps, “2 Chainz said you good, but he lied.”
Chainz said he thinks it was just Kendrick using wordplay and brought up the fact that he has a collab with Drake titled “No Lie.”
“I didn’t take it as no kind of way. I don’t think he was taking a shot at me. I’ve heard all type of instances where somebody want me to say something back. I just think it was a moment where it was about Atlanta artists,” he continued.
2 Chainz appears to not be taking any sides in the beef that dominated most of 2024.
“I was okay with it. Some people didn’t want they name in it, some people was like why didn’t he say my name? And it’s just – it wasn’t nothing,” he concluded.
