On the said date, El-Kanemi Warriors will host Plateau United at the El-Kanemi Stadium in Maiduguri, and Ikorodu City FC will host Nasarawa United at Onikan Stadium in Lagos. The two games will kick off at 3 p.m. simultaneously.
Ikorodu City, who are currently sitting at the bottom of the league table, are condemned to beat Nasarawa United to grab their first three points of the season.
Following the aforementioned games, one more NPFL game will take place on Saturday before the attention will be shifted to the seven fixtures scheduled for Sunday, September 29.
One of the biggest fixtures on Sunday is the clash between the reigning NPFL champions, Enugu Rangers and the current table-toppers, Remo Stars who are yet to drop a point this season. The encounter is scheduled to take place in Ikenne, Ogun state.
