2027: APC Chairman Backs Tinubu for Second Term, Calls Him Party’s Biggest Asset

Nentawe Yilwatda

The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Nentawe Yilwatda, has described President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the party’s greatest asset, expressing confidence that the president is well-positioned to secure a second term in 2027.

Yilwatda made the remarks in Abuja during the APC North-West Youth Mobilisation Meet-and-Greet programme hosted by the Minister of State for Works, Bello Goronyo.

According to him, several factors will strengthen Tinubu’s re-election prospects, including increased youth participation, visible outcomes of government policies, the party’s expanding national presence, and the use of data-driven mobilisation strategies.

He said Tinubu’s leadership style, combined with the APC’s growing grassroots reach, has earned the party recognition as “the largest political party in Africa,” noting that its acceptance continues to spread across the country.

“Every day we keep on receiving more governors. Every day we keep on receiving more National Assembly members.

“We receive market women. We receive farmers. We receive students,” he said.

Stressing the importance of unity, the APC chairman urged party members to remain loyal and committed, describing both the party and the president as invaluable.

“This party is your biggest asset. The President is our biggest asset. Let us stand by this party,” Yilwatda said.
