Former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar, met with ex-President, Goodluck Jonathan, at his residence in Abuja on Saturday.
Naijaonpoint reports that Atiku made this known in a post via his š handle on Sunday.
The African Democratic Congress (ADC) chieftain stated that the visit followed Jonathanās recent return from Guinea-Bissau.
Although there were few details about the meeting, it is believed to be part of consultations ahead of the 2027 election.
Atiku wrote, āIt was a pleasure catching up with former President Goodluck Jonathan yesterday evening, following his recent return from Guinea-Bissau.ā
Meanwhile, the Senior Political Assistant to Atiku has blamed Jonathan for the action of his principal against him in 2015.
Olarenwaju made this known while responding to questions on š Space tagged āAPC Must Goā on Saturday night.
According to Olarenwaju, Atiku moved againstĀ JonathanĀ in 2015 because the former President betrayed a gentlemanās agreement with him.
He said, āMost of the answers Iām going to give tonight are not just based on my deliberations with Atiku, they are based on my desire for a better Nigeria.
āBecause at the end of the day, if Nigeria is better, my life is better and easier as a Nigerian.
āSo I only find myself with Atiku, in 2015 I didnāt find myself with Atiku, I found myself on the side of Goodluck Jonathan.ā
