The African Democratic Congress, ADC, says it wants to get president Bola Tinubu out of power come 2027.
The National Publicity Secretary of the party, Bolaji Abdullahi, made this known on Friday when he featured in an interview on ‘Politics Today’, a programme on Channels Television monitored by DAILY POST.
According to him: “We want to get Tinubu out of power. That’s the only way we can get our country back.
“Not desperately, because it is only by getting him out of power that we can take our country back.
“They country has been more or less been hijacked. You see some of the behaviour of the people in government, and when people say you can smash and grab power and run with it. That’s the language of banditry.
“A government that can forge a duly passed law. What do you call that. You see, some things have happened in my recent tome that is unprecedented in the history of Nigeria.
“This is the first time the National Assembly will make a law then some people in government will sit and forge it.
“This is the first time we hear that the Nigerian government will pay $9m for lobbyists to make them look good before US President Donald Trump.”
