An erstwhile Minister of Sports and interim spokesperson for the African Democratic Congress, ADC, Bolaji Abdullahi, has blasted President Bola Tinubu’s ‘Renewed Hope Agenda’, saying it has become a theatre of hardship and hopelessness.
Abdullahi stated this on Wednesday, when he appeared on Channels Television’s ‘Politics Today’.
He said the current hardship, insecurity plaguing Nigeria, and collapse of accountability in governance are indications that the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, has failed.
“In two years, hope has become hopelessness. You know? I mean, look at the parameters. Look at the parameters,” he said.
According to him, the coalition was not just seeking power for its sake but focused on building a political party where discipline, equity, and internal democracy are entrenched, describing the ADC as a vehicle to build a values-based party that will outlive its current members and stand the test of time.
