Nigeria’s music legend, Innocent Idibia, widely called 2Baba, has finally spoken amidst the simmering feud involving his wife and Edo State House of Assembly member, Natasha Osawaru, with a short but alarming message, “Help me.”
The singer shared the distress call on his Instagram Story on Wednesday, leaving fans stunned and concerned. In the brief post, he simply wrote, “Help me,” offering no context.
Naijaonpoint reports that the message comes hours after his brother, Hyacinth Idibia, issued an emotional appeal of his own, leaning on song lyrics to portray the unfolding situation as more than a social-media quarrel.
Hyacinth, in a heartfelt Instagram post, wrote, “You’ve always been ahead, always been brilliant. Lyrics meant to inspire, but somehow it’s unfolding in real time… Painful reality. Allow us save you. You’ve been suffering for too long. God knows.”
The crisis, which has brewed for weeks, reportedly first spiralled in the United Kingdom, where a heated confrontation between 2face and Osawaru allegedly forced police involvement and led to the singer’s temporary arrest.
The conflict later played out during an Instagram Live session hosted by media personality, Daddy Freeze, where the couple was seen in a tense, on-camera exchange.
The public spat ignited widespread speculation that the marriage may be in full crisis, particularly as both visible incidents pointed to distress and simmering personal tensions.
As of the time of filing this update, neither 2baba nor Osawaru has released a detailed statement clarifying the situation.
