Legendary singer Innocent Idibia, better known as 2baba or 2face, has shared a heartwarming video of him meeting Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi.

In the video posted on his Instagram page, the singer was captured carrying Peter Obi’s bag as they walked through the airport. At a point, the former governor collected his bag from the legendary singer and they posed for pictures.

Recounting their meeting, 2baba said he had a brief conversation with him, but it was impactful, and he received massive knowledge. He noted how one doesn’t learn to finish as he saluted Obi for his plans for the country. 2baba expressed hope that Nigeria will gradually get there as he noted how it wouldn’t happen overnight.

“Earlier today with His Excellency Mr Peter Obi

In September, controversial singer Portable had expressed disappointment after meeting Peter Obi in Benin City, Edo State. The singer was captured exchanging pleasantries with the former presidential candidate. In a clip from the meetup, Portable had lamented bitterly over how the former governor didn’t give him any money. Comparing him to the current President Tinubu, he stated that the President would have given him money if he had the opportunity of meeting him.

After Obi’s loss at the General Election, Yul Edochie stated that despite his fondness for Tinubu, he still has respect for Peter Obi and will never insult him. He believes Peter is a great leader and his time will come if God allows it. However, it is Jagaban’s time and the next 8 years are dedicated to him.

Meanwhile, Tonto Dikeh had questioned Peter Obi over his unveiling of borehole projects in some Northern states. She questioned if the former governor was truly committed to taking this country to the next level, as she stated that the idea that Nigeria was almost entrusted to him, is disheartening. Expressing disappointment, she made it known that she wasn’t trolling him but was dissatisfied with his actions and was in disbelief.
