A 45-year-old man, Mabur Simon, has been killed by unidentified attackers in Maori Village, Mbar District of Bokkos Local Government Area, Plateau State.

Simon was reportedly killed during an attack that has left residents concerned about renewed security threats in the community.

Troops of Sector 5, Operation Enduring Peace (OPEP), were deployed after receiving information about the incident and the death of the victim.

A military source said the troops arrived at the community and confirmed that Simon had been killed.
