50 Cent hopped online to react to shocking allegations made in a recently filed lawsuit that Fat Joe once took out a hit on him.
“These baseless accusations and claims are not credible. I’m sorry joe has to endure the public scrutiny and damage to his reputation,” 50 captioned an AI-assisted image of them together.
“THIS IS A STICK UP!” Fif continued. “I wrote this hook I should a kept this one.”
According to legal documents, his former hype man, Terrance “T.A.” Dixon, alleges that the New York City rapper once attempted to hire someone to kill fellow artist 50 Cent at the height of their early 2000s feud. Fat Joe, whose real name is Joseph Cartagena, has denied all allegations through a statement from his attorney.
The “Lean Back” rapper also filed a defamation lawsuit earlier this year against both Dixon and his attorney, maintaining that the accusations are “completely false and malicious.”
Dixon is suing Fat Joe for $20 million.
