A$AP Rocky will soon find out his fate as a jury will soon decide whether he is guilty or a free man, but 50 Cent says the Harlem rapper will be the case.
50 shared a clip from Rocky’s trial.
“I got ASAP beaten this case,” he wrote in the caption. “I’ll bet 500,000 on it, that boy ASAP Tellie was just trying to get some money. Fool said I was scared for my life so I sent back to the scene and picked up the shells. Officer told him hey if you want to get some money go to the hospital. Who want to bet.”
A$AP Rocky, real name Rakim Mayers, was charged with two felony assault charges relating to a 2021 shooting incident involving his former crew member and friend, A$AP Relli. The pair got into a verbal altercation before it turned physical. Relli claims Rocky pulled a gun out on him and shot him in the hand.
He denies the allegations and says he used a prop gun that night.
Rocky turned down a plea deal, which, if he had accepted, would have served just a few months behind bars. If convicted, the rapper is facing up to 24 years in prison.
