6ix9ine Tries To Reignite Beef With 21 Savage

Tekashi

Tekashi 6ix9ine has not gotten over his beef with 21 Savage, and in a recent interview, he used the opportunity to take several jabs at immigration status.

“I’d really spit on that n—a if I ever see that n—a,” 6ix9ine said on DJ Akademiks’ livestream. “I’m a US citizen, that’s what separates us. I have a blue passport. 21 Savage not from here,” he added.

In 2019, when Savage, real name is She’yaa Bin Abraham-Joseph, was detained by Immigration and Customs Enforcement over an expired U.K. visa. His arrest sparked widespread outrage, with Jay-Z and Roc Nation rallying behind him in a public show of support.

“The arrest and detention of 21 Savage is an absolute travesty, his U visa petition has been pending for 4 years,” Roc Nation said in a statement at the time. “In addition to being a successful recording artist, 21 deserves to be reunited with his children immediately, #Free21Savage.”

In October 2023, 21 Savage, the London-born but Atlanta-raised rapper, officially became a lawful permanent resident of the United States.

6ix9ine was recently placed on home detention after violating his probation once again after he attacked a man in a gym last month. The judge warned the rapper to stay out of trouble as any further violations will earn him prison time.
