Nollywood actor Rotimi Salami has finally broken his silence on the death of his friend and colleague, Allwell Ademola.
On his Instagram page, he noted how 72 hours of endless tears still can’t bring her back.
He penned a heartfelt note to those who have genuinely reached out to him with love and concern for his state of mind and well-being. He said he sees their support, but he is too weak to read, listen, respond, or even find the words to express how he really feels.
Rotimi made it known that all isn’t well at the moment, but for the sake of his family, friends, and the fans who have shown up, and most especially, for his children, he is learning to move on.

To everyone who has genuinely reached out to me with love and concern for my state of mind and well-being through countless calls, messages, and voice notes.
I see them all.
I truly do.
I’m just too weak right now to read, listen, respond, or even find the words to express how I really feel.
All is not well at the moment.
But for the sake of our family, friends, and the fans who have shown up in prayers, posts, calls, and overwhelming love – and most especially for my children, who will draw strength from me as we learn to move on without our Shuga Boo, our Ibiayo, our Eniobanke, our Allwell Ademola.

Kemi Filani reported on Saturday night that news made rounds that the beloved Yoruba actress had passed away. The actress, who was aged 43, suffered a heart attack at her residence before she was taken to the hospital.
Following the sad news, fans had stormed his comment section, questioning what happened to the deceased and urging him to speak out.
In a recent interview, Salami had spilt the beans on his relationship with Allwell. He recalled how she introduced him to Ronke Odusanya and guided him down the path that led to his creation. He noted how people assumed they were dating because of their relationship, which he denied.
This wasn’t the first time he was addressing such rumours. In an Instagram post, while reacting to a blog post describing Allwell as his lover, he made fun of the article, calling the rumour mongers’ world people’.
When Rotimi celebrated his birthday, Allwell celebrated the man he has become. The plus-size actress wished he would enjoy his new age and all the goodness of life. She expressed her pride in his achievements.
In an Instagram post, Rotimi penned a heartwarming note to Allwell, declaring his love for her. The actor appreciated Allwell for always fighting him and for him and revealed his delight to see her grow bigger every time.
Reciprocating the love, Allwell called him her babe, her father figure, and several sweet names.
