Nigerian music star Dbanj is celebrating his colleague, 2baba, as he turns 50.
Taking to his Instagram page to share a photo of himself with him, he described 2baba as his brother, ancestor and legend. Dbanj described 2baba as a bad sharp guy as he prayed for more life, blessings, and timeless music.
Affirming his love for him, he wrote,
“Happy Birthday to my Brother, Ancestor and legend @official2baba
A Bad Sharp Guy! More life, more blessings, and more timeless music. Love you, King! OooSssHhEeee”.
Kemi Filani reported in May that 2baba and Dbanj had blessed social media users with a video of them linking up. Kokomaster, via his Instagram page, shared a video of 2baba and his then-fiancée paying him a surprise visit at his home. In the clip, the two long-term friends jumped for joy as they hugged each other.
Last year, Dbanj reunited with his friend and music producer, Don Jazzy, to make a sequel to his 2008 album, The Entertainer. He shared a movie teaser to announce his album, which left social media users buzzing over his reconciliation with Don Jazzy.
Earlier on, Dbanj had created a stir online after he shared photos of him with Don Jazzy. He described the duo as brothers for life and bad boys since the 04.
While marking his 20 years in the industry, he paid respect to Don Jazzy, noting how his journey would never be complete without him. Dbanj stated that as he celebrated the huge milestone, he was reminded of the countless memories and milestones he and Don Jazzy have shared. He cheered on to two decades of brotherhood, entertainment and unwavering support with Don Jazzy and expressed love for him.
