Following the news of the death of Nollywood actress Allwell Ademola, all eyes have been on her last post.
Kemi Filani reported on Saturday night that the actress had passed away after suffering a heart attack at her residence.
The sad news was confirmed by colleagues of the deceased via their respective social media. The likes of Damola Olatunji, Mr Latin, Faithia Williams, and Bidemi Kosoko were the first to mourn her.
Many eagle-eyed fans noticed that in her final post, the actress was praying to crossover to the New Year.
In the clip, she had sung along to a song playing in the background with the lyric,
“In the name of Jesus, I will see the end of this year. This year will never see my end”.
Earlier this month, Allwell had remembered her late lover. She, despite it being years, still misses him so much that it hurts. Allwell said she knows he was proud of her and told him to rest well.
In an interview, Allwell had revealed why she was still unmarried at 41. According to her, she would have gotten married in 2005, but death took the love of her life away. She disclosed that she was on a call with him when he was shot. Allwell stated that the incident left her traumatised for two years.
In 2022, the Yoruba actress had marked the remembrance of her lover, noting how he was a good man and her everything. She revealed that she had made a promise to herself to wait for his return, but he never did.
Recall that Allwell made headlines when she dated her mate fiancee’s bestman.
Opening up about it in an interview, she admitted to moving on from her ex’s death, with his best man. She clarified that the best man was her bestfriend and they had known each other before her fiance.
