Nollywood actress Tope Osoba has revealed that she is fully recovered and ready to return to acting after a challenging battle with breast cancer that started in late 2024.

Naijaonpoint reports that the 39-year-old took to Instagram on Monday to speak about her experience and inform fans that she is back to work.

She reflected on how the illness changed her life, expressed gratitude for the support she received, and shared her plans to rebuild her career.

She said she is now focused on healing, growth, and inspiring others with her story.

Tope first noticed a lump during a self-check, but initial medical advice suggested it was hormonal.

When the lump grew larger, she sought further tests, which confirmed it was breast cancer.

Her first surgery took place in November 2024.

A second operation was needed to remove the remaining cancer cells, with the total cost estimated at N12 million.

Tope Osoba is popular in the Yoruba movie scene and has featured in films such as Ile Owo, Omo Iya Kan, and Gucci Girls.

She wrote: “Dear beloved fans, supporters, and loved ones, I’m Temitope Osoba, and after my cancer experience, I’m excited to announce my reintroduction. This journey has been a turning point, leading to my rebranding, reshaping, and rebuilding. I’m emerging stronger, more resilient, and more passionate about sharing my story and inspiring others.

“This new chapter is about healing, growth, and empowerment. I’m committed to using my platform to support cancer awareness and help others who may be walking a similar path.

“I’d like to extend my heartfelt appreciation to my new management team for their incredible support and vision. I’m thrilled to be working with them to take my career to the next level!

“I’m also open to exciting opportunities, including endorsements, roles, and event-related collaborations. If you’d like to discuss potential partnerships or opportunities, please feel free to reach out to my management team.

“Thank you for your unwavering support. I’m looking forward to this new journey with all of you! With gratitude and love, Temitope Osoba.”
