Nollywood actress Yewande Adekoya has written a prayerful note to God in the wake of the death of her colleague, Allwell Ademola.
In an Instagram post, she noted how they have gone through pain, loss, and unanswered questions and asked Him to wipe their tears, console their hearts, and heal every place that has been broken.
The Yoruba actress prayed that He renew their strength, revive their faith, and remind them that He is still at work, even when they don’t understand the journey.

As we stand at the edge of a new year, we come with hearts that have known pain, loss, and unanswered questions. Please wipe our tears, console our hearts, and heal every place that has been broken. Where sorrow has lingered, breathe peace. Where hope has faded, restore it gently.
Renew our strength, revive our faith, and remind us that You are still at work — even when we do not understand the path we are on. Let the coming year carry Your light, Your mercy, and Your favour. Turn our mourning into joy, our fears into courage, and our waiting into testimony.

Similarly, Odunlade Adekola had begged God over the death plaguing the Nigerian movie industry. He praised the mightiness of God and prayed that God would close the door of untimely death in the Nollywood industry.
A few weeks back, Eniola Badmus had called for a better Nigeria as she kicked against death wishes. She expressed how disheartening it was to see a social media influencer use their platform to wish death on anyone. Badmus admonished Nigerians to do better and called for Nigerians to choose decency over division.
In an Instagram post, Yul Edochie revealed that abandoning traditional ways is the cause of rampant untimely death and the need for solutions. He admonished Nigerians to return home and embrace their traditional ways.
