Nigerian music star Adekunle Gold has expressed gratitude to God as he and his wife, Simi, are expecting their second child.
Kemi Filani reported on Wednesday night that the power couple, in a video posted on their YouTube page, announced they were expecting their second child. In the clips, Simi was captured showing off her protruding baby bump alongside her husband and their daughter, Deja.
Taking to his Instagram page, Adekunle said no matter where he goes, his home is the same, and his love is the same. He expressed gratitude for his blessings and for being able to capture these moments with his favourite people in the world.

In January, Adekunle Gold and Simi had celebrated their sixth wedding anniversary. Adekunle stated that Simi has been his greatest blessing, his partner in everything, and his peace and joy. He stated that every day with her is a gift, and he is forever grateful for her.
Simi, on her part, had penned a note to him as she noted how Adekunle still makes her laugh. She declared him the best man she knows and the one for her.
Adekunle Gold married Simi in 2019, and they welcomed their first child, a baby girl named Deja, in 2020.
In a past interview, Simi said she never intended to marry a musician as she narrated how she met her husband, who she never knew was a singer.
