A video has surfaced online of Nollywood actress, Mercy Johnson, issuing a stern warning to singer, Tekno, over her goddaughter, Regina Daniels.
Kemi Filani reported during the weekend that Regina had stunned the internet with her appearance in singer Tekno’s music video. Via her Instagram page, Regina shared a clip from the video as she described the singer as her favourite.
In a clip from the music production, Mercy Johnson was on the music video set to show support for Daniels. She sternly warned Tekno to take care of her daughter.
“Please take care of her”, Mercy told the famous singer.
A week back, Mercy and Regina turned heads when they stepped out in matching outfits at the UN Tourism CAF Gala. The two linked up at the Gala night, unknowingly wearing matching outfits. In the clip, the two Nollywood stars were captured hugging and embracing each other as they made their way to the event.
Regina had melted hearts when she defended Mercy against Angela Okorie. Slamming her senior colleague, Daniels stated that Angela was mad as she made her know that she and Johnson don’t forgive easily.
Mercy Johnson and Regina Daniels have been thick as thieves for a long time now. Their relationship has transcended beyond the movie screen, with both actresses building a solid relationship outside movie sets.
Recall that Mercy and Regina once fell out allegedly over Regina’ marriage. According to sources, Mercy allegedly tried to advise her to hold on a bit and build her career more before moving on to start a family as she was still a teenager. The advice reportedly didn’t go down well with the Delta-born actress who became angry at Mercy and decided to withdraw a little bit.
However, the two reconciled in 2022, and since then, they have been pouring love on each other.
