Ndidi started the game for Leicester City against Liverpool, and he had a decent game from midfield. He had a big opportunity in the 10th minute, but his close-range strike hit the upright.
However, Liverpool dominated the game in the first half, with Mohamed Salah, Cody Gakpo, and Ibrahima Konate all coming close to scoring, but they failed to score before the break.
In the second half, Liverpool stepped up the ante, but Leicester City put up a strong front. However, Trent Alexander-Arnold scored the winning goal for the Reds in the 76th minute.
Ndidi played 83 minutes, registering four tackles, three blocks, one goal line clearance, and three goal attempts. But his effort just wasn’t enough.
The result means that Leicester City will drop to the Championship as they have 18 points from 33 games. This means that with five games left this season, the Foxes do not have a mathematical chance of climbing out of the relegation zone.
