Nigerian music star, Damini Ogulu popularly known as Burna Boy, has revealed that he is now thinking about starting a family as he grows older.
He shared this during his 34th birthday celebration in Lagos on Wednesday night, Naijaonpoint reports.
The Grammy-winning artiste said a recent conversation with billionaire businessman, Jowizaza made him reflect on his life and realize that it’s time to consider having children.
Burna Boy had previously said in May 2024 that he wasn’t ready to be a father, explaining that he wanted to wait until he was married and could give his children proper attention.
Now, with age catching up, he believes the time is drawing near to begin that chapter of his life.
“Na so Jowizaza follow me talk the last time, I come dey think about my life. Omo, I don dey old oh, I for begin born pikins,” Burna Boy said in pidgin.
Meanwhile, Nigerian comedian Ayo Makun, popularly known as AY, has defended Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, following his public apology to his lover, Natasha Osawaru.
Naijaonpoint reports that the legendary artiste sparked reactions after saying men are not wired to be sexually committed to just one woman.
After the backlash, he released an emotional video apologizing to his new wife, Natasha Osawaru, his kids and fans.
Responding to the backlash, AY shared a message on social media urging people to look beyond judgment and consider the human side of men in the spotlight.
He described 2Baba as a man under pressure who took responsibility not because he is perfect, but because he is human.
AY also pointed out that men are raised to bottle up their emotions, and when they finally speak out, they are often misunderstood, dismissed, or blamed.
