Security operatives at Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos, have arrested three unruly passengers aboard an Air Peace flight from London following disruptive behavior mid-flight.

The incident occurred when two passengers, identified as Adedigba Adewale and Ashibogu Magnus, who were originally assigned Economy Class seats, forcefully occupied seats in the Business Class cabin and refused multiple directives from the crew to return to their designated seats.

Despite repeated warnings, the individuals remained defiant, creating tension among passengers and crew.

In addition to their refusal to comply with flight regulations, they openly consumed a bottle of rum they had brought onboard. A third passenger, identified as Iwonze Benjamin, also participated in the unauthorized consumption of alcohol.

Their behavior raised security concerns, prompting the captain to issue repeated warnings over the aircraft’s intercom. With the escalating situation, the flight crew alerted security agencies in Nigeria ahead of the aircraft’s arrival.

Upon landing, law enforcement officials were on the ground to apprehend the individuals, who were taken into custody for further investigation.

Authorities have launched an inquiry into the incident, with legal action expected to follow.
