Entertainer, Charles Oputa, popularly known as Charly Boy, has shown support for Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan as she resumed her duties at the National Assembly after being out of office for six months.

Naijaonpoint reports that the senator representing Kogi Central returned on Tuesday after her suspension, which was linked to alleged misconduct.

Her office was reopened by the Deputy Director of the National Assembly Sergeant-at-Arms, Alabi Adedeji, marking her official return to legislative activities.

Charly Boy shared a photo of the lawmaker on Instagram, praising her comeback and reacting to her resilience despite political challenges.

He wrote on X formerly Twitter: “Una don hear say Senator Natasha don enter National Assembly? You can’t mess with an Alpha woman like dat. It seems like they have exhausted their lies; the only available option is to unseal or face international sanctions. Akpabio, be careful next time, no be all women be ntanta.”

Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan had been suspended in March, following tensions with Senate President Godswill Akpabio. She had earlier accused him of sexual harassment, an allegation he denied.

The suspension, however, was said to be based on issues outside the harassment claim.

During her return, the senator maintained her stance of not offering an apology over the matter, insisting she had nothing to regret.
