One of the most talked about NPFL matchday two games was the match between Rivers United and Heartland. This game attracted special attention because of their coaches.
Note that Rivers United are coached by former Super Eagles of Nigeria coach Finidi George, and Heartland are coached by Emmanuel Amuneke, a coach who contended for the Super Eagles job before it was given to Finidi.
Interestingly, Finidi’s Rivers United beat Amuneke’s Heartland 3-1 in the NPFL matchday two on Saturday, September 14.
