Deputy National Legal Adviser of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Okey Osuoha, has stated that all issues within the party have been resolved.
Naijaonpoint reports that Osuoha made this known during an interview on Arise Television on Monday, hours after the party’s National Executive Council (NEC) meeting held at the party‘s headquarters in Abuja.
Osuoha stated that there are no factions at the moment, emphasising that all parties within the PDP unanimously agreed to resolve their disputes and move forward.
According to him, every member of the party’s NEC at the meeting agreed with every decision taken.
He said, “All issues have been settled. I’ve told you there’s no factions for now. That settlement is that Anyanwu is the national secretary.
“These are ways we move it forward, and that’s why I say today, all the parties have agreed. Dispute has been settled, and we’ll now move forward.
“So it was just a unanimous decision that agreed to move forward. And it’s a very welcome development. I was happy, because let me tell you, every Nigerian looks up to BDP as the bastion of democracy.”
Recall that the acting National Chairman of the PDP, Umar Damagum, declared that the party’s NEC has affirmed Samuel Anyanwu as the national secretary.
