During a recent livestream, Almighty Jay clapped back at Nahmir after Nahmir accused Jay of almost getting his mother unalived.
“‘YBN broke up because Nahmir was hanging around gang bangers.’ No,” Nahmir said on livestream. “YBN broke up because you did some foul stuff that almost got my mom hurt. And I never said anything about it until now.”
Almighty Jay clapped back, alleging that Nahmir was recently robbed while in Washington, D.C.
“This n—a went live and said, ‘When you got your face cut, n—a, them the same n—as you was calling to protect you.’ Gang, I never picked up my phone and called you not one time and been like, ‘Hey Nahmir, I need you to do some gangster s–t for me.’ Come on, brother. I’ll call Lester before I call you, gang,” he says in the clip.
“What happened in the studio like four months ago when you was in D.C.?” he later asked. “You forgot what happened in the studio when you was in D.C.? Didn’t you get pistol-whipped and stripped in the studio for all your chains, that’s why you got no chains? I’m tweaking? If I’m lying I’m flying, I put this on my mama life.”
Jay claims he can prove the incident happened by going live with the men who carried out the robbery.
The YBN crew, which once included Nahmir, Almighty Jay, and rapper Cordae, first rose to fame in the late 2010s with breakout hits like “Rubbin Off the Paint” and “Bounce Out With That.”
