The Anambra State Governor, Charles Soludo, has urged electorates in the state to collect money from vote-buyers and riggers but vote for the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA).
Naijaonpoint reports that Soludo, an APGA member, is seeking a second term in the November 8 governorship election in the state.
Speaking during the party’s campaign rally on Wednesday at Anambra East Local Government Area, Soludo said electorates should deal with vote-buyers during the election.
According to Soludo, the opposition parties are planning to rig the election, but APGA is concerned about a free, fair, transparent and credible election.
He said, “They are planning for rigging, they are planning for violence.
“But APGA is planning for free, fair, transparent and credible election, that’s what we are planning.
“We are going to get the voters out, what we need is for everybody to vote, we count the votes, announce the votes, and when you do that, we know who the winner will be.
“APGA is Anambra, Anambra is APGA, Anambra is APGA fortress. In Anambra, APGA is not just a political party, it’s almost like a religious movement.
“Let them bring the money, they will share the money. We will take the money and then vote for APGA.”
