Soludo Leads APGA Mega Rally Ahead Of LG Polls

The national leader of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) and Governor of Anambra State, Prof. Charles Soludo, has called on party loyalists to engage actively in the electoral process ahead of the local government elections scheduled for September 28, 2024.

Governor Soludo made the call during a mega rally held at Dr. Alex Ekwueme Square in Awka at the weekend.

Speaking during the rally, Governor Soludo emphasized the importance of grassroots participation in shaping the future of the state while restating his administration’s commitment to consolidating the party.

With 21 local government areas set to participate, the elections are expected to be fiercely contested, with multiple parties vying for key positions.

“It is evident that APGA is Anambra, and Anambra is APGA. The conduct of the local government election is a promise made and a promise kept, even though many did not believe it during the campaigns. We promised to build the institutional mechanism and legal framework.”
