‘Anti-Party’ – Netizens React As Osun PDP Lawmaker Congratulates ADC Candidate

Netizens have reacted to a congratulatory message posted by Hon. Olujinmi Asagade, the lawmaker representing Ejigbo in the Osun State House of Assembly.

The message celebrated Dr. Najeem Salam, who reportedly clinched the governorship ticket of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) for the 2026 Osun election.

On Saturday, Asagade took to social media and wrote: “Congratulations to Rt Hon Najeem Folasayo Salaam, the Oluomo of Ejigbo, on his emergence as the unanimous ADC flag bearer in the 2026 Osun gubernatorial poll. His reputation and  character are impressive. By his acceptable behaviour, he was made the Oluomo of Ejigbo. Congratulations Iwaloye….”

While many users congratulated the ADC candidate in the comment section, some raised questions.

A few asked whether Asagade was planning to join the ADC, especially considering the crisis currently affecting the PDP at the national level.
