APC appoints Abdulrahman Haske Youth Advisory Committee Chair

·       As Haske applauds President Tinubu for fostering youth inclusivity

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has announced the appointment of Abdulrahman Bashir Haske as Chairman of the Youth Advisory Committee for the August 16, 2025, Ganye, Adamawa State Assembly Constituency by-election.

The appointment, signed by the APC’s National Vice Chairman, North-East, Comrade Mustapha Salihu, underscores the party’s commitment to youth empowerment and inclusive leadership.

Members of the National Campaign Council Sub-Committee, which Haske will work closely with, comprises Hon. Nuruddeen Hamanyero, Barr. Dedan Pwadi Hoki, Dr. Tahir Abubakar Girei, Musa Terrang (PhD), Lamido Hamza Abdullah and Salihu Mohammed Harbingiwa.

Other members include Huzaifa Sanusi, Idris Zubairu Numan, Sa’adu Adamu Namtari, Hon. Khalil Sajo, Dauda Kushu, Isah Garba Mayo, Lukman D. Wise, Shehu Baba-Jacob and Hon. Yakubu Bello Bashir.

Following his appointment, Haske has commended President Bola Tinubu for making significant strides in fostering youth inclusivity and steering the APC towards charting an exceptional course for the national.

“Under President Tinubu’s leadership, there are intentional efforts to ensure that the youth have a voice in the nation’s development. Managing the APC, President Tinubu has been navigating the complexities of Federal governance to benefit the nation at large,” he said.

Haske has also paid a courtesy visit to National Security Adviser (NSA), Nuhu Ribadu, also APC leader in Adamawa State where he discussed key issues ranging from the by-election, party matters, and strategies to strengthen political ties and support, with Haske commending the NSA’s leadership style, inclusivity, and achievements.

Meanwhile, the APC has reaffirmed its commitment to a peaceful, transparent, and successful by-election, while urging all party members, supporters, and the public to rally behind Haske and other members of the Youth Advisory Committee towards delivering on the assigned national assignment.

Abdulrahman Bashir Haske was born in Yola, Adamawa State and has developed interest in contributing his quota to the socio-political and economic developments of Nigeria.

As a promising young leader and active advocate for youth development through sports, skills development, education and many more, Haske is a founding member of the AB Haske Foundation, which has carried out several philanthropic activities across Adamawa state.

Haske attended the prestigious American University of Nigeria where he obtained his first degree. He is also an alumnus of the Manchester Business School and Lagos Business School where he obtained post graduate certificates and a member of the Institute of Directors (IoD) in Nigeria.

Early in his young age, he delved into business and has successfully run various mega projects notable amongst them is the state-of-the-art 48-ton-a-day rice processing mill in Adamawa. The first of its kind in the entire Northeast region of Nigeria.

His business interests include construction, agriculture and Information Technology. Abdulrahman is a keen, passionate polo player and has contributed massively to the development of the game within and outside of Nigeria.
