The Governor of Delta State, Sheriff Oborevwori has said that the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) is nothing like the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) where he left.
Speaking at an event organised by the APC to welcome the governor into the ruling party, Oborewvori said within the ruling party, the governor is expected to take charge of the state chapter of his party.
Stating that he does not believe in factional leadership which gives rise to most of the challenges within parties, Oborevwori said every member of the APC must unite.
His words, “Other governors will join, it is a movement, its a movement and when you have a movement, you don’t fail.
“And I went to assure our chairman, the national chairman… because there are some things people say in the newspaper, there is confusion, there is a faction; as I have come, there will be no more faction again.
“APC is not like PDP. The governor takes charge, and we are taking charge. I don’t believe in any faction. Everybody must queue, and we will unite this state,” Oborevwori said.
