Newly released ARC Raiders has just revealed its roadmap, detailing the extraction shooter’s upcoming content drops for the rest of this year. Embark Studios’ latest isn’t worried about potential competition with Battlefield and Call of Duty, and has already generated a lot of buzz as a new step for the extraction genre.
In a press release, developer Embark Studios disseminated the below roadmap infographic. It shows that a new map, enemies, weapons, items, and quests will come in November alongside a community unlock event. December will follow with a new Snowfall map condition, an event called Flickering Flames, a new Expedition and Raider Deck, and yet more quests.

The most consequential information in the ARC Raiders 2025 roadmap is the announcement of a new map, Stella Montis. ARC Raiders launched with five playable maps – Dam Battlegrounds, Buried City, Spaceport, and Blue Gate – but the fifth, Stella Montis, is already visible when beginning an expedition Topside. Stella Montis is in the northwest corner of the Rust Belt, but its in-game description, like the roadmap, offers no hints about the map itself.
The other transformative new additions in November will be the two new enemies, the Matriarch and the Shredder. Just like Stella Montis, there’s virtually no hint at what these could be, but they could conceivably feature heavily on the new map. ARC Raiders‘ machine-taught robots are already a highlight of the game for many, and new foes will be a welcome injection of new threats to the game.
ARC Raiders December Update Adds Snow Just In Time For The Holidays

A highlight of the ARC Raiders December update will likely be the teased Snowfall map condition. Without any details, it’s potentially a universal map condition, meaning all five maps at the time could become covered in snow while the condition is active. Map conditions already pop up on the current four ARC Raiders maps for a limited time, changing the environment or providing special loot opportunities.
December also appears to be when we’ll see ARC Raiders begin offering battle passes, which are now ubiquitous in live-service games. In ARC, they’re known as Raider Decks, and the first one is already in the game, but is available for free. While the game is already priced at $40 for the standard edition, Raider Decks will seemingly be the means for long-term monetization. The new one should bring a whole host of new cosmetics to unlock.
A new Expedition is also an interesting addition so early in the game’s life. Expeditions are ARC Raiders‘ system for voluntary progress wipes. Conceivably, you will eventually accumulate enough loot that continuing to scavenge becomes almost pointless, but Expeditions let you essentially retire a Raider and start with a mostly clean slate. ARC Raiders is coming out of the gate quickly, with a lot of content already on the docket for the rest of 2025.
