Ariana Grande experienced a frightening moment at the Singapore premiere of Wicked: For Good on Thursday when a fan suddenly rushed her on the yellow carpet.

Grande was walking with her costars Michelle Yeoh, Cynthia Erivo and Jeff Goldblum at Universal Studios Singapore when a man ran toward her and grabbed her from the side, holding her close as she tried to pull away.

Erivo reacted instantly, stepping between Grande and the man while security moved in to restrain him. Grande appeared shaken afterward, taking steadying breaths while Erivo and Yeoh comforted her.

Fans later identified the man as Johnson Wen, known online as “Pyjama Man,” who has a reputation for crashing celebrity events.

Wen posted his own video and thanked Grande for “letting” him jump in, despite being escorted off by security. He previously interrupted appearances by Katy Perry in June and The Weeknd in August.

Fans slammed Wen in the comments.

“Do you have a humiliation kink? Nothing about this is cool. Stop touching people you don’t know,” one fan wrote in the comments section.

Another wrote, “After all the trauma Ari has been through, this is beyond disrespectful. Not just to her, but to the cast and to all the fans. It’s literally infuriating. You should be ashamed.”
