New Delhi.Amazing view was seen in the opening ceremony of IPL 2023. Whoever saw singer Arijit Singh and India’s most successful captain MS Dhoni, he just kept watching. Actually the 16th season of IPL started in Ahmedabad. The first match was played between Hardik Pandya’s Gujarat Titans and MS Dhoni’s Chennai Super Kings, where Pandya won. Actress Rashmika Mandanna, Tamannaah Bhatia, Singer Arijit Singh gave live performance before the fierce competition on the field.
Arijit gave the first performance in the opening ceremony. The whole stadium danced on his songs. Even MS Dhoni himself could not stop himself. Dhoni went on stage after the opening ceremony was over. What happened after this, everyone kept watching.

Arjit touched Dhoni’s feet as soon as he reached the stage. Dhoni picked him up and hugged him. Talking about the match, the first day of the league was not in favor of Dhoni. His team had to face defeat by 5 wickets in the first match. Batting first, CSK scored 178 runs for 7 wickets in 20 overs.

Rituraj Gaikwad scored the maximum 92 runs for CSK. Dhoni remained unbeaten on 14 runs. Gujarat achieved the target of 179 runs given by Chennai at the loss of 5 wickets in 19.2 overs. Shubman hit 63 runs in 36 balls for Gujarat. Whereas only 8 runs could be scored from the bat of captain Hardik Pandya.
