A suspect has been arrested in connection with the violent home invasion at the Florida residence of Tekashi 6ix9ine, authorities confirmed.
According to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office, 19-year-old Pedro Rodriguez was taken into custody and charged with armed home invasion robbery with a firearm, false imprisonment, grand theft, and possession of marijuana with intent to sell or deliver. Investigators say Rodriguez is believed to be one of several suspects and that the investigation remains ongoing.

The incident occurred last month when four armed men allegedly forced their way into the rapper’s home through the garage.
Surveillance video captured the intruders ransacking the property while holding 6ix9ine’s mother against her will. In the footage, she can be heard begging and pleading as one suspect stood guard and others searched the house for valuables.
Authorities previously said the men were looking for cash and car keys before fleeing the scene in a getaway vehicle.
At the time of the incident, 6ix9ine publicly addressed the terrifying ordeal, saying the situation left him shaken and emotional.
“Yesterday, they allowed me to leave for work. People saw that I was on livestream with Jack Doherty. They took that opportunity to f–king do some p—y s–t. It’s me, so I get it,” he said last month.
“The rules are different for me. If it was your favorite artist, your favorite actor and that was done, they don’t get no cool points for that. My mom is 60 years old. Y’all know I’m supposed to come home. Y’all know I’m home all the time. I’m on house arrest. So, y’all take the opportunity that I’m not home and y’all see me on livestream with Jack Doherty in Miami and y’all do that. That’s p—y s–t.”
