Nollywood actress Ashabi is once again addressing her critics following her arrest of her dramatic baby daddy, Portable.

On her Instagram page, she posted a loved-up video she and Portable took before their messy fallout, which has now led to his detention in prison.

Ashabi told her critics to believe anything, noting how the singer claimed he was asleep when she scattered his bar.

Kemi Filani reported that the controversial singer was arrested by his actress babymama, Ashabi. In a clip that made rounds online, Portable was captured trying to escape as a group of people held tightly to him.

On Tuesday, the singer was arraigned at a High Court in Onipanu, on charges including assault, felony occasioning harm and resisting arrest. He was accused of attacking Ashabi and obstructing a female police inspector, Ogungbe Olayemi, in the course of her official duties. He was remanded in custody until January 19, when his bail application will be considered.

Recall that on New Year that Portable and Ashabi had engaged in a heated argument, as Ashabi told the singer to kill her.

In an Instagram video, Portable claimed that Ashabi came to his house to attack his family. He claimed that his pregnant wife was beaten mercilessly, and guns were pointed at his children. He further claimed Ashabi’s mother accused him of using charm on her daughter and questioned why he didn’t buy a car for her.

Speaking up for herself, the upcoming actress explained that when she and her siblings went to celebrate the New Year with him, he pushed her and slapped her. She alleged that he brought out an axe and forcefully took all their phones, gave her younger brother a blow in his eye, and slapped her younger sister, which left her seeking safety in his office.

In another post, the mother of two had addressed critics, telling them to leave singe, Portable. She told them to allow her to breathe and reduce their advice, and further told them to let her be and allow her to think for herself.
