Aston Villa have entered the race to sign Ademola Lookman, joining Arsenal and Liverpool in pursuit of the Atalanta forward this summer, Footynaija.com reports.
The Serie A club are demanding around £55 million (approximately N109 billion) for the 27-year-old Nigerian international, as per Give Me Sport.
Lookman has revived his career in Italy since joining Atalanta from RB Leipzig in 2022, after struggling to make an impact in the Premier League.
The London-born winger has been one of Serie A’s standout performers, delivering 18 goals and seven assists in 32 appearances across all competitions this season. Despite facing some controversy earlier in the campaign, his impressive form has drawn interest from several top clubs.

Arsenal have been tracking Lookman for some time, having considered a move for him last summer. With Gabriel Jesus and Kai Havertz struggling for consistency, Mikel Arteta is keen to add more firepower to his attack, easing the burden on Bukayo Saka.
Liverpool, meanwhile, are exploring attacking options as they prepare to reinforce a squad favourite to lift the league title in manager Arne Slot’s first season in charge.

Aston Villa’s interest adds another layer of competition, with Unai Emery aiming to strengthen his squad for the Champions League next season.
Villa are keen to bolster their attacking options, and Lookman’s versatility makes him an attractive target.
Atalanta, however, are under no pressure to sell and will demand a significant fee for their star player.
