Atiku Reacts To The Insecurity Situation In Nigeria

Atiku lumped the insecurity situation in the various states as one and addressed them together. In his view, the armed force would be able to solve the insecurity perpetrated by bandits in the north and restore calm and normalcy in the zone.

Atiku wrote: The shocking news of dual fatalities in Lagos, on account of gas explosion and in Sokoto on account of armed bandits attack are national tragedies.

While I believe that investigations will commence in earnest, especially on the Lagos incident, I sympathise with the families that are in bereavement on that note.

The situation in Sokoto is part of our national security challenges, and I believe that our armed forces will duly respond to the situation. My condolences also go to the victims and their families at this difficult moment.
