THE governor of Bauchi State, Bala Mohammed, has dismissed the Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, Alhaji Ibrahim Gambo Galadima.

The decision was announced in a brief statement issued early today by the governor’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Mukhtar Gidado.

According to the statement, the removal followed a minor reshuffle of the State Executive Council approved by the governor and took immediate effect.

Gidado explained that the cabinet adjustment aligns with the administration’s commitment to periodic performance reviews aimed at injecting fresh ideas, strengthening governance, improving service delivery, and ensuring the effective execution of government policies and programmes across the state.

Governor Mohammed thanked Galadima for his service to Bauchi State during his tenure and wished him success in his future endeavours.

He also reassured residents of the state of his administration’s continued dedication to peace, security, and good governance.

The governor’s media aide added that a replacement for the sacked commissioner would be announced in due course.
