Nollywood actress Dayo Amusa has expressed pride in her colleague, Iyabo Ojo as she makes her cinema debut.
Kemi Filani reported on Sunday that Iyabo Ojo had premiered her first Cinema movie, Labake Olododo, at Imax Cinemas Lekki, which had in attendance with many celebrities.
Taking to her Instagram page, Dayo expressed pride in Iyabo, noting how she really worked hard on it. She stated that Iyabo’s dedication and discipline were visible to all, and she was proud of her.
Dayo admonished Ojo to stand tall as she urged her fans to watch the movie.
“You really worked hard on this one. Your dedication and discipline were visible to all, and I am proud of you.

Amusa isn’t the only one who has praised Iyabo over her movie. When Iyabo had shared the movie trailer, Funke Akindele had given it her stamp of approval.
At the movie premiere, Funke had commended Iyabo. She praised the actress for the movie’s aesthetics, visuals and all and congratulated her on her new feat. Funke told Iyabo it was her turn to shine and admonished her to break boundaries.
Following the premiere of her movie, Iyabo penned an appreciation post, stating that she was overwhelmed by the incredible show of love and support. She expressed how humbled she was by the massive turnout, enthusiastic response, and outpouring of love.
Labake Olododo is a Nollywood Indigenous story that explores deep themes of truth, faith, societal norms, and personal redemption.
