A Ghanaian agricultural journalist and farmer, Enyonam Manye, has stated that one of the best decisions of her life was becoming an agricultural journalist and farmer.
In a post shared on her official X (formerly Twitter) account, Manye noted that she was discouraged at the beginning, as many people did not understand her choice.
Enyonam Manye, a producer and 2023 IFAJ Award winner, revealed how persistence in agriculture and journalism transformed her life and career.
Manye wrote, “One of the best decisions of my life was becoming agricultural journalist and farmer When I was starting out, many people discouraged me and didn’t understand it, but I am supper proud not to have given up & it has changed my life!!”
Her post drew reactions from followers praising her determination and impact in agriculture. Farmer Jeff commented, “You’ve really inspired me. Thanks for your good service to the Agricultural sector.” Davidmuhumuza added, “Thanks for the determination towards the industry.”
