“Before you judge her, pluck out the sand from your eyes” – Actress Oma Nnadi shows support for Regina Daniels after claim she got married at 17

Before you judge her pluck out the sand from your eyes Oma Nnadi defends Regina Daniels Kemi Filani

Nollywood actress and filmmaker Oma Nnadi has drummed up support for her junior colleague, Regina Daniels.

Kemi Filani reported hours ago that while hitting back at Ned, Regina admitted that she did drugs because it was what her husband wanted. She questioned when she married Ned at 17, if she was on drugs.

On her Instagram page, she noted that the actress was just 17 when she got married, yet people are judging, talking, and blaming her.

Oma said that before they judge Regina, they should pluck the sand from their eyes first. Calling them hypocrites, she admonished Regina to shut her ears to all the noise and stay strong.

“My goodness, humans, Regina was, when this man took her in as his wife. And all you people claiming I sabi talk online judges are for real judging her?
17 years of age?
That year, you feel you have grown when you have not?
That year, you try to prove to your parents that you are an adult when you are not close to it
That’s the year you took her in as your wife.
And people are talking and blaming a child.
All of your talkatives, especially the males talking anyhow online here, can you even bathe yourselves when you were 17?
God forbid.

I will continue to say this: before you judge Regina, pluck the sand from your own eyes first. Hypocrites everywhere.
Dear @regina.daniels, I am not here to put mouth in your marital affair maka uka di an nwunye, anaghi etinye ya onu ma ncha BUT, my girl, shut your ears to all this and stay strong and well for your family. They are all in no way better than you. TRUST ME. This will surely pass”.

Similarly, Mary Njoku noted how she was still figuring out her personal hygiene at 17 and pointed out the irony in how people expect Regina to be perfect because she is on camera. The wife of Iroko TV admonished netizens to refrain from digging up people’s pasts to justify their own pain, and urged them to normalise helping when someone cries out for help.

Georgina Onuoha had called for Ned Nwoko to step down from his official position. She said that the allegations against him are grave and deeply disturbing, and must be investigated transparently and without bias.

Anita Joseph had slammed Ned Nwoko for bullying Regina Daniels’ family, questioning whether he left room for reconciliation. Calling for the release of Sammy, she stated that marriage isn’t by force, and the actress is allowed to leave.

FFK’s ex-wife, Precious Chikwendu, questioned where the Actors Guild and those whom Regina has helped were. She noted how Daniels is too young for this experience, and questioned Ned for torturing a person whom one promised to love and protect. She described Ned’s action as narcissīstic and vicious.

Mercy Aigbe, noted how Regina, is young, talented, and still learning. Aigbe noted that we all go through seasons, some gentle and some stormy, but we can overcome. She told her to keep her head high, keep growing, and never lose her beautiful spirit.

Ruth Kadiri, in an Instagram post, noted that Regina celebrated and supported everyone as much as she could. Ruth stated that Regina will forever be celebrated.
