Being celebrity is expensive, I spend N400m monthly – Davido

Nigerian Afrobeats star Davido has revealed that maintaining his lifestyle as a global celebrity comes with enormous financial commitments.

Speaking during a recent livestream with streamer Davrel, the award-winning singer said he spends between $200,000 and $300,000 every month, approximately ₦300 million to ₦400 million, depending on the exchange rate.

According to Davido, the figure covers only his personal expenses and does not include the costs of his wife, Chioma Adeleke, or other members of his household.

He said …

“I spend between $200,000 and $300,000 every month and that doesn’t even include my wife’s expenses or the rest of my household

“It also doesn’t include expenses for the purchase of luxury cars and jewellery,” he said.
