US President Donald Trump has met with his cabinet this morning, with the Iran war naturally dominating discussions.

Trump reiterated that under a peace deal, the Strait of Hormuz would be “open to everybody” and under US protection but not control.
This, again, runs counter to Iran’s repeated assertions that there is no returning to the pre-war status quo for the key trade route, and that Iran and Oman will jointly “manage” it.
Oman, historically, has had friendly relations with the US and often acted as an intermediary in Middle Eastern conflicts.
That didn’t stop Trump from casually threatening to annihilate them if they went along with Iran’s plan.
“Oman will behave just like everybody else or we’ll have to blow ’em up,” he said to reporters following the cabinet meeting, according to CNN.
