Rapper Blueface is expected to be a free man soon, according to his mother.
TMZ caught up with Karlissa Saffold, who revealed that she is not allowed to disclose his release date but that he will be back on the streets in just a matter of days.
“Well, today I got a call and I can’t tell you exactly cause he’s like, ‘Don’t be telling my exact date,” but we’re down to the last stretch. We’re days away,” said Saffold.
She continued, “I have the coming home party. Make sure you guys get your tickets for the celebrity Blueface coming home party. I’m going to be picking him up with his kids. His girlfriend got us a limo, so you know I’m excited.”
Blueface was jailed in January 2024 for violating probation from a 2021 assault charge, initially receiving a seven-month sentence in Los Angeles. He received an additional four-year sentence in August 2024 for violating probation from a 2022 shooting case in Las Vegas.
He is currently serving his sentence at Cali’s North Kern State Prison.
Blueface has been keeping his fans updated with pics from prison, which have shown his drastic transformation. Gone is the slim, fresh-faced young man. Since being behind bars, the rapper has bulked up and has covered his body in tattoos.
