Rapper and reality TV star Blueface is looking back at a moment he says he wishes he had handled differently.
During a recent appearance on Club Shay Shay, the 28-year-old reflected on the 2022 Las Vegas shooting that ultimately led to his incarceration and ongoing legal consequences.
Speaking with host Shannon Sharpe, Blueface described reacting out of fear after hearing chaos erupt outside Euphoric Gentlemen’s. He said screeching tires and shouting made him believe his life was in danger, triggering a split-second decision to pull out a gun. The incident left Kentavious Traylor with a grazing wound.
Initially charged with attempted murder, Blueface later accepted a plea deal that reduced the charges. He was placed on probation with a suspended prison sentence and ordered to pay millions in damages to the venue. Looking back now, the rapper admitted violence was not the answer.
“If we can’t talk it out … If we gotta see whose d–k is longer. Let’s do it. You know how n—as are, some n—as just want to see how far they can piss next to you. Sometimes you just got to out-p–s them,” he told Sharpe.
.Earlier this fall, Judge Kathleen Delaney lifted his ban from the Las Vegas Strip for work purposes. Weeks later, Blueface publicly apologized to Traylor during a livestream with DDG.
