Benzino and Bobby V are pushing back after social media accusations sparked questions about their relationship status.
The claims surfaced last week when Althea Heart shared Instagram posts alleging that Benzino had been involved with Bobby V while Heart was dating him.
Alongside her accusations, Heart posted screenshots of alleged text messages that she claimed supported her version of events.
In one message shown in the screenshots, Heart appeared to confront Benzino directly, writing, “You was actually f–king Bobby V. Please. I tried to love you. And I have my last to provide as a mother so you feel good about me losing my homes.”
After the accusation was seemingly ignored in the exchange, she followed up with another message that read, “So you’re admitting your bi sexuality omg.”
Both artists responded the following day and strongly denied the claims. Bobby V, who is currently on tour in the UK, addressed the situation in an Instagram Stories video.

“It’s cool,” he said. “N—as wanna keep saying my name, I’m suing everybody who lying on me. I’m tired of playing games.”
Hours later, Bobby V issued a longer written statement, saying he had seen the alleged messages and accusing Heart of making false claims.
“At this point in my career, false statements of this type will only be met with lawsuits,” he wrote. “Play time is over.”
Benzino also denied the allegations and is also threatening to sue.
