Italian Serie A side, AS Roma have sacked coach Daniele de Rossi with immediate effect after a poor start with three points in four games. NaijaOnPoint.com.ng (NOP) reports AS Roma only extended De Rossi’s contract few months ago.

De Rossi led Roma to the semi-finals of the 2023-24 UEFA Europa League, where they were eliminated by Bayer Leverkusen 4-2 on aggregate.
In June 2024, Roma announced that they had extended De Rossi’s contract until 2027. He then got sacked on September 18 after 4 games into the season.
