Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has arrested Aisha Sulaiman Achimugu, renowned business executive and socialite at the Abuja Airport.
Her arrest was disclosed through her legal team in a statement on Tuesday stating that Achimugu who arrived voluntarily into the country from London, was arrested around 5 a.m. on Tuesday.
The development is coming after the Federal High Court mandated Aisha Achimugu to appear before the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC to answer questions regarding an alleged fraud.
The judge had also directed that she must appear before the court on Wednesday, April 30, 2025.
